DiversityFIRST™ Career Fair: For Employers

Employers will find the DiversityFIRST Career Fair an excellent place to connect with talented prospective individuals in an environment that will facilitate meeting recruitment goals in an extremely efficient manner. Both talent and diversity are key aspects of this signal event. We are expecting over 200 students and candidates to attend.
In addition to access to top talent and diversity, here's what employers can expect as part of the career fair:

Career Fair Check In

We recommend that you plan to arrive on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 to check in and set up your booth so that your career fair experience on Wednesday, October 24 will be maximally productive. Our staff will be available to assist you between 4pm and 7pm on Tuesday. You will also be able to check in on Wednesday morning, beginning at 8am.

Accommodations

We have negotiated a group rate of $129 per night for overnight stay at the Westin Columbus. Reservations can be made at 1-800-WESTIN-1 under National Diversity Council or https://www.starwoodmeeting.com/Book/NDC2012
Parking is available for overnight guests in the hotel's secured lot. Valet or Self parking is $ 20.00 per car, per day. This pricing allows 24 hour in and out privileges. Day parking is also available for meeting attendees at the rate of $5 per day. The hotel parking lot is limited to 125 spaces, and we are unable to guarantee availability. Additional parking is available across the street from the hotel in the Columbus City Center parking garage for $12.00 overnight.

Friendly Reminders

  • Please note that the fair has been promoted to occur 10am � 3:00pm. We ask that all booths maintain access and representation for the full duration. Many attendees plan their day according to the published hours. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
  • Our volunteers will assist you with teardown to make it a smooth expeditious process.
  • Employer Sign-In/Out System: When you must leave your booth for an extended period, please use the BACK SOON signs provided in your packet.
  • Secure your personal belongings. DiversityFIRST is not responsible for loss or theft. The Ohio Stadium- Huntington Club Rooms will be locked Tuesday, October 23, 7pm � Wednesday, October 24, 7am but no additional security will be provided.
  • DiversityFIRST is here to serve you! Members will be circulating throughout the day and will also be stationed at the Employer Registration table. Let us know how we can assist to make your day productive and problem-free.
