Founder's Welcome

It is my privilege to welcome you to the Third Annual Ohio Diversity & Leadership Conference sponsored by Abercrombie & Fitch and Nationwide. This year’s theme is Inclusion Yields Innovation. As Ohio experiences demographic and economic changes, along with these changes come opportunities. Opportunities to share ways to understand that in order to promote growth and an environment that reflects our population, we must be prepared to retain, develop and attract a more diverse talent pool. Inclusion is only one piece of the puzzle. It’s what we do with that to inspire the creativity needed to Yield Innovation.
The purpose of this two day conference is to give our Ohio professionals an opportunity to network and take their leadership skills to a higher level. It’s a time to collectively share how to retain and attract the diverse talent necessary to accomplish organizational goals. Our speakers and various panel sessions will focus on understanding the importance of creating an environment where diversity can be leveraged and utilized to promote growth. This is a chance to really define inclusion, overcome the fear of change and take on the role of an effective leader. We have to continue to make this major change in how we do business in order to have an all Inclusive workforce whose positive energy will Yield Innovation.
I want to thank our sponsors who have seen the value in our Ohio Diversity & Leadership Conference and continue to provide financial support to keep us going. Please take note of our sponsors and support them when possible. Second, I want to say “Thank You” to our speakers who have made commitment to be here for this conference. Many have traveled in order to participate and I greatly appreciate their support. Finally, I would like to thank the organizers of the conference for a job well done.
Thanks,
Dennis Kennedy
