Welcome to the 2010 Ohio Diversity & Leadership conference co-sponsored by Abercrombie & Fitch, which is designed to provide a platform where people engage in a dialogue on how to leverage diversity in the workplace.
On behalf of Abercrombie's associates, the A&F Executive Diversity Council and our portfolio of brands which operate in cities like San Francisco, New York, London, Toronto, Milan and of course Columbus we thank you for taking time out of your schedule to participate in our third annual statewide conference on diversity and leadership and challenge you to bring provocative ideas, issues and solutions to the table when discussing this critical issue.
For those of you who are returning to the conference, we thank you for your commitment and confidence in what we have been able to do each year. If this is your first year, I believe that you will leave this conference thinking differently than you did about the topic of diversity and inclusion. For example, if you really commit yourself to this conference you'll make the connection with how an inclusive environment yields innovation and creativity.
