Vicki Gaimbrone, FACHE, MPA
Executive Vice President, Strategy and Healthcare
CDB Advisors

Vicki S. Giambrone serves as the executive vice president and partner for CBD Advisors. CBD Advisors is a Dayton-based senior consulting and professional services firm. Vicki works with Dayton Children’s Hospital and a variety of other healthcare clients to help them in developing strategy and achieving their goals for growth, brand building, physician relations; and advocacy. She is a recognized expert in developing effective issues management strategy, stakeholder engagement, marketing and business development. She is a sought after speaker on topics like healthcare strategic marketing; Moving Physician Relations Programs from Service to Sales; and Networking that Works.

For over 23 years, she served as the vice president for strategic partnerships and business development for Dayton Children’s Hospital. She led the development of the ambulatory strategic plan; managed the hospital’s highly successful business development efforts and strategic partnerships. She developed the nationally recognized public affairs, advocacy program and marketing programs; developed the referral physician program and community outreach efforts and as well as leading marketing, strategic planning and Foundation Services and for several years leading Human Resources.

She is a very active community advocate and has served on many boards over the past 30 years. Currently she serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Pink Ribbon Girls and Greene Inc and as a board member for two private corporations. Among the numerous awards she has received in recent years are the Greeneview High School Alumni Hall of Fame; Dayton Daily News Top Ten Women; Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Dayton; the Dayton YWCA as a Woman of Influence; Woman of the Year for the Southwest Ohio Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Communicator of the Year from the Public Relations Society of America, Dayton Chapter. In 2014, she was named to the Dayton Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Hall of Fame.

In addition, Vicki serves the City of Beavercreek as an elected official to the City Council having served as Vice Mayor and Mayor and in 2013 was selected by Governor John Kasich to serve on his Executive Workforce Task Force Board.

She has earned Fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is board certified in health care administration; and earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Dayton.
