Tina Benavides is Vice President of Creative Division's Core Cards for American Greetings She oversees the Company's planning, design, graphics and editorial staffs for seasonal and everyday Core and Feature cards, as well as the Imaging & Media Solutions area.
Since joining the Company as an artist in 1979, Tina has held a number of positions within the Creative Division, each with increasing responsibility. Tina is a past recipient of the Cleveland YWCA Women of Professional Excellence Award and was Celebrity Artist for the Cleveland American Diabetes Association Benefit. Over the years she has played an active role in many of the company's philanthropic campaigns, including Harvest for Hunger, and United Way. She was a past executive sponsor for the American Greetings Chairman's Award. Tina has also been a past keynote speaker at the National Stationery Show and Greeting Card Association conferences and was part of a panel discussion for Speaking of Women’s Health Conference. She was recently the 2015 Greeting Card Association Industry Awards Gala Chairperson.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is a past member of the Board of Trustees for the Avon Lake City School Foundation.
She has recently assumed executive sponsorship of the Hispanic Resource Network at American Greetings. Tina and her husband Chris live in Avon Lake, Ohio.
