Celia Jarvis is the President/CEO of Quality Management Solutions Group, a small minority/women-owned business, where she provides management consultingservicesto small-and medium-sized organizations. She hasover 17 years of Human Resource experiencein both the public and private sectors.Her background includes working as a Compliance Officer for the Department of Labor/OFCCP, Senior Enlisted Liaison (retired Chief Master Sergeant, U.S.Air Force Reserve), EEO Officer at a non-profit organization, Internal Operational Development Consultant, Myers-Briggs and Diversity facilitator, and HR Manager for union and non-union organizations. She has presented at the National College in Kettering Ohio (“Resume Writing for the New Graduate”), Article Peer Reviewer for the Society for Human Resource Management (“The aging workforce: Leveraging the talents of mature employees. (Paullin, 2015)), subject matter expert on the Society for Human Resource Management HR Competency Model, Behavioral Anchor Scaling Initiative, and Working Group Member for ASIS International/Society for Human Resource Management Workplace Violence Prevention and Intervention American National Standard (ASIS/SHRM WVPI.1-2011). Additionally, shehas received certifications as: Strategic Human ResourceBusiness Partner (sHRBP), Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR), SHRM-Certified Senior Professional (SHRM-CSP) and Lean Six Sigma-Yellow Belt.Ms. Jarvis has earned Master degrees in Human Resource Administration (Central Michigan University) and Employment Law (Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center),and is currently a Doctoral Researcher where she is conducting a qualitative study exploring “The impact generation Y’s communication style has on their organizational assimilation during their first year”.
