Mary Jo Green

As regional vice president of communications, Mary Jo Green is responsible for media relations, internal communications, philanthropy and local programming for Time Warner Cable divisions in Ohio, Wisconsin, Kansas City and Lincoln, Nebraska. Time Warner Cable provides cable service, Road Runner, Digital Phone and Business Class services.

Mary Jo has more than 25 years of experience in communications, public affairs and marketing communications. Prior to joining Time Warner Cable in 1993, she spent 13 years with American Electric Power, where she was director of public affairs programs. She also was director of marketing communications for Combibloc, a drink box manufacturer with North American headquarters formerly in Columbus.

An active member of the Columbus community, she serves on the boards of the Greater Columbus Arts Council (Chair), Women's Fund of Central Ohio (Chair) and Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation. Mary Jo is past chair of the YWCA and past long-time board member of the Jefferson Center for Learning and the Arts. Mary Jo also co-authored the book Women Leading the Way: Reflections on Life and Leadership, published in 2005.

A native of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, she earned her bachelor's degree in journalism summa cum laude from Ohio University and a master's degree in business administration from The Ohio State University.
